In informal English (spoken and written), it is sometimes possible to drop the subject from your sentence. Generally speaking, you can only do this if both of these two things are true:
- the word you drop is a pronoun; and
- it is the first word in the sentence.
Compare these two sentences:
- I went for a drink with a friend from work; and
- Went for a drink with a friend from work.

複数形、過去形、比較級にする時に、「y」で終わっている単語は「i」にしましょうって中学で習いましたよね。
でもこれにもルールがあるって覚えてましたか？
子音字＋ｙ で終わる単語は 「y」を「i」に変えるが、母音字＋「y」の場合は変える必要がありません。
